A male pt aged, 63 yrs, presented with c/o painful swelling in the left breast since last 1 ½ years. His biopsy reports from Tata Memorial hospital confirmed the tumor to be non-cancerous. He had been on homoeopathic treatment from a different doctor, since last 1 year without any relief.

2) Psoriasis
Pt aged, 38 years, c/o Psoriasis. The biggest patch is on the medial surface of the right hand. A patch on the left neck just below the ear. He has been suffering from these complaints since last 10 years. The first patch was on the right ankle which had disappeared after strong ointments.
Personal history
He was the only male child among 3 of his sisters. His childhood was very difficult with financial problems and poverty. His father was an irresponsible person. His mother struggled to make the ends meet and in spite of the poverty managed to educate her four children. He had always been ridiculed during childhood and adolescence by his well- off relatives, because of his dark appearance and his average performance at studies.
His life was a perfect rag to riches story, and now he is the Vice-president of a multinational company, which is a pharmaceutical giant. He always used to repeat that it was his ambition and big dreams which bought him to his present position.

3) Herpes Zoster
Male aged 34 years, c/o herpes zoster on the left chest extending to axilla and back. He was complaining of severe burning pain along the course of the eruptions. The only relief he felt was from keeping the arm in motion and by cold applications.

4) Bilateral Multiple Ovarian Chocolate Cysts, Infertility
A young lady teacher aged 27 years presented herself. On enquiring about her problem a huge file of previous reports and doctor’s prescriptions were placed on my table. After going through all of them in detail I found out that she had bilateral multiple chocolate cysts of the ovaries.
She had consulted the best of the best gynecologists of Mumbai. Finally she had consulted a lady gynecologist who was reputed internationally for infertility treatment, and was also the president of the Indian association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
After about a month of treatment she had advised getting a laparoscopy to assess the viability of an operation to remove the cysts. On the operation table, doctors discovered that she had extensive adhesions spread throughout the abdominal cavity.
The above mentioned Gynecologist finally concluded it to be a hopeless case and advised artificial method for conceiving. This was not acceptable to the couple and by the time this patient visited me she was totally dejected. One of my other patient was a family friend of this couple and her persuasion was the only reason that they decided to give homoeopathic treatment a last try.

6) Sunburn
23/05/06, 9 p.m.
A Male patient aged, 36 yrs, presented with severe sunburn, on his back and shoulders.
He had been to Ratnagiri for vacations in MAY, where he had played for almost 3 hours in the sea.
He had worn only shorts, leaving his upper body exposed to the scorching afternoon sun. Along with the sun exposure, his young kids had rubbed a lot of sea-sand on his shoulders and back while playing in the sea, which in turn had doubled the damage to his skin.
Being fair-skinned the first sign was only a severe reddening of the sun-burnt area.
But when he returned home he found that the sun-burnt parts of the skin had become sensitive to touch and those parts had stopped sweating.
He presented himself 2 days later with severe blackening of skin with sensitiveness and roughness of the affected area.

He called up next day evening to inform that his sun-burnt skin had begun peeling off since late night, which looked similar to a snake shedding its skin.

The strangest part of this case is that in spite of having so many calculi and an ovarian cyst, she was asymptomatic. The pathological changes were discovered in routine health check-up.
